On February 11th, good news came from Wuhan First Hospital14 COVID-19 patients treated with integrated TCM and western medicine were discharged.

After the integrated treatment of TCM and western medicine and the good care of medical staff, their conditions were stable. The consecutive nucleic acid tests were negative; their temperatures were normal for more than 3 days; CT scan of the lungs showed better absorption of the lesions. They were allowed to be discharged after discussion of the expert team.

TCM doctors make rounds every day in the isolation ward of Wuhan First Hospital, and provide dialectical TCM treatment for each patient with "one person, one prescription". Chen Jing said that the discharge of the 14 COVID-19 patients fully demonstrates the positive effects of integrated TCM and western medicine treatment in alleviating symptoms, improving immunity and reducing the length of hospitalization.

When leaving the ward, the 14 patients thanked the medical staff and expressed blessings to other patients who were still fighting the disease. They said: "strengthen confidence and cooperate with medical staff, and you will beat 'epidemic devil', and recover soon definitely!"
Wuhan First Hospital will continue to take advantage of the integration of TCM and western medicine in treating COVID-19, provide targeted treatment to more patients so that they can recover as soon as possible, and resolutely win the battle against epidemic prevention and control together with other medical staff across the country.
