At present, the people of the whole country join hands to prevent and control the outbreak of Novel coronavirus. The Chinese nation has a fine tradition that, if one in trouble, all will help. Macao compatriots also have a good tradition of patriotism, tolerance and mutual assistance. The prevention and control of the outbreak in the mainland has always been the concern of Macao compatriots, and all walks of life in Macao have expressed their desire to make a contribution to the early victory of the battle.

For the willingness of people from all walks of life in Macao, the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macao Special Administrative Region started collecting donations from all walks of life to help prevent and control the Novel coronavirus. As of Feb 6^th, the Office's collection account has received donations of MOP 1,208,483,577 and HKD 36.245 million including HKD 30.7695 million from the Macao Fujian Tongxiang Association, MOP 30 million from the Sun City Group, MOP 20 million from the Galaxy Entertainment, MOP 20 million from the SJM, MOP 20 million from the Sands China, MOP 10 million  from Juxing Group, HKD 3.5 million from Yangtze River Construction Co., Ltd., MOP 1 million from the Friendship Association of Members of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference in Macao, HKD 1 million from the Lotus Charity Foundation, HKD 1 million from the Macau Construction Association. Other institutions and people from the society also spontaneously donate.

In addition to directional donations, donations from all walks of life in Macao will be transferred to Hubei Charity Federation. The first batch of collection donations were transferred on February 7^th, which were uniformly deployed by the Hubei's Novel coronavirus prevention and control headquarters. The Office will strengthen communication with Hubei Province and publicize the use of Macao's donations in a timely manner.

In addition, all walks of life in Macao society also announced or donated to the epidemic prevention and control in mainland through different forms. Zhang Zongzhen, Fujian chairman of the Friendship Association of Members of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference in Macao, donated 100 million to Fujian Guangcai Cause Promotion Association in his own name to set up a special fund. Melco Group donated HKD 20 million to RCSC Hubei Provincial Branch for epidemic prevention and control. Yongli Macao announced that it would donate MOP 20 million of medical materials to Hubei Province. MGM China said it would donate MOP 20 million. Macao Overseas Chinese Federation and Macau Red Cross donated 411 boxes, totally 972000 medical masks purchased in Indonesia to RCSC Hubei Provincial Branch and so on. With full enthusiasm, all walks of life in Macao society are actively supporting the epidemic prevention and control in mainland, and the accumulated donation is more than MOP 300 million in cash and in kind.
