At the beginning of the new year of 2020, a sudden outbreak of COVID-19 made the people of China, Japan and South Korea truly feel the meaning of Community with a Shared Future”.

In explaining the concept of Community with a Shared Future”, President Xi Jinping pointed out: "There is no such place in the world that is absolutely safe ... Threats from other countries may also become challenges for our own country. If something goes wrong with our neighbors, we should not just think about securing our own fence. We should go and help them ".

Since the outbreak of COVID-19 epidemic, China and its neighbors in East Asia, South Korea, and Japan have implemented the idea of “East Asian Community with a Shared Future” with practical actions in dealing with common problems, based on the concept of “Community with a Shared Future”.

The epidemic situation in China has been effectively controlled, which attracts close attention from neighboring Traditional Medicine circles.

Recently, China Association of Chinese Medicine maintains close communication and coordination with Korean Academy of Korean Medicine and Japanese Society of TCM, shares and exchanges the experiences on the diagnosis and treatment of COVID-19 with TCM, thus strengthening their confidence and determination to fight the epidemic. They also proposed to carry out online communication with the theme of "Treatment of COVID-19 with Traditional Medicine ", and to hold the 23rd China-Korea Academic Symposium on Traditional Chinese Medicine. Through these academic exchanges on Traditional Medicine among experts from two nations, the health and well-being of the people from two nations can be well promoted.

China Association of Chinese Medicine stated that they would actively cooperate with the Korean medical circles and wholeheartedly provide academic support to jointly fight the epidemic.
